Lizard Butte Kennel Club (LBKC) is an affiliate with the American Kennel Club, better known as the AKC.  LBKC exemplifies the long-held values of the AKC, who is dedicated to upholding the integrity of its registry, promoting the sport of purebred dogs, and breeding for type and function.

 

Since its founding, in 1971, the Lizard Butte Kennel Club has continuously worked to promote the AKC values within the Treasure Valley.  The foundational AKC values :
