Lizard Butte Members are the first to volunteer at our events.  We step-in and help with setup, operation, teardown, promotion, ring-side stewardship and more.

 

Dog shows are fun to watch.  But, behind the scenes it takes a full-team of dedicated club members AND committed volunteers to pull it off.  Below are some example roles that may comprise our standard dog shows or matches.  We are always looking for people who are interested in helping our members bring an event to life.

Volunteer Opportunities:

​

Outdoor Setup - ring fencing and courses, tables, vendor booth locations and installs, signage, parking, etc.

​

Indoor Setup - ring floor mats, ring fencing, signage, vendor booth location and installs, grooming setups, etc

​

Promotional Activities - web and social media campaigns, flyers, word-of-mouth, cross-promote with other events, etc.

​

Fit and Finish - Indoor and outdoor venue cleaning and area re-sets, etc.

​

Communications - create and direct the event schedule & activities with club officers, event directors, volunteers, judges, etc.

​

Ringside - Steward volunteers, tables, schedules, judges' materials and awards, etc

​

Hospitality - coordinate food and beverages for judges and volunteers

 

Teardown - un-install all event materials and transport back to the club storage facility.
